Talking Twat with the GLCCB for the Vagina Dialouges
It's no secret that I like to talk about sex, love and intimacy. As a former adult entertainer, and self-proclaimed sexpert, I quite enjoy talking not only about sex, but the human body and how we interact emotionally. As a vocal former sex worker, I often find Myself pulled into conversations that others may find taboo.
I was recently invited to the local GLCCB to participate in a panel discussion all about vaginas. It was an awesome experience. We talked about sex, std's, sexual assault, sex toys, dating and even sex when you have mental illness.
I love when I can have such open and fruitful conversation, especially in mixed company. These conversations should not be taboo. We should be able to talk about our bodies, sexual history and std status openly. I know that since I've come out publicly as a woman living with an std for 20 years, I've found much more peace in life.
In fact, I just got a message this week from a woman thanking Me for sharing My story so openly because it helped her feel comfortable telling her new lover her own status.
